Your QR card in three steps

From link to print bed in a minute.

    1. 1

      Paste a short link

Your website, your Instagram or your portfolio. The shorter it is, the bigger the little squares.

    2. 2

      Type your text

Your name, your brand or a call to action like "Scan me". It goes to the right of the code.

    3. 3

      Print and hand out

Download the 3MF and print a full plate: change filament at 2.4 mm and they all come out in two colours.

How to print a QR card properly

    Short links, always

On a card the code is 44 mm at most. With a link of about 25 characters each square is 1.8 mm and prints sharp; with 35 characters it drops to 1.5 mm, right at the limit. Remove everything after the "?" in links copied from social networks.

    Size

86 × 54 mm, like a credit card, and 3.6 mm thick including the relief. It fits in a wallet, though it is thicker than a paper card.

    Two colours with one nozzle

The base ends at 2.4 mm: add a filament change before the first layer above it (layer 13 with 0.2 mm layers) and the code and text come out in the second colour.

    Readable text

The text is raised on the right. Keep it short (one or two words): long text makes the letters too small, and the tool will warn you.

    Frequently asked questions

    How big is the card?

86 × 54 mm, the size of a credit card, and 3.6 mm thick including the relief.

Why does it warn me that the squares are small?

On a card the code cannot exceed 44 mm. With a long link the grid grows and each square shrinks. Use a shorter link: your own domain or your profile without the tracking tail.

Can I print it in two colours on an ordinary printer?

Yes. The base ends at 2.4 mm: add a filament change right before the first layer above it and the code comes out in another colour.

Does it fit in a wallet?

Yes, it is the size of a credit card. It is thicker (3.6 mm), so a pocket works better than a card slot.

    Can I add my logo?

Yes, in the middle of the code. It takes space and forces a bigger grid, so on a card keep it for very short links.

    Is it free?

Yes, no account and no download limit, commercial use included.
